NOON MASS ON HOLY DAYS
In light of the significantly high attendance at the 12:00 Noon Mass on Ash Wednesday, a 12:00 Noon Mass has been scheduled on the Feasts of the Assumption (Friday, August 15), as well as the Immaculate Conception (Monday, December 8). The Holy Day Mass schedule for these feasts will be 7:00 AM, 12:00 Noon and 5:30 PM. Since there is a 5:30 PM Mass on these feasts, there will be no anticipated Masses. On Sunday, December 7, Mass at 5:00 PM will be the Mass for Sunday. In January the Parish Council will be asked to evaluate this new schedule.
5:00 PM SUNDAY MASS
It has been a practice at St. Mary Parish to cancel the Sunday 5:00 PM Mass when there is a long holiday weekend. This practice will be continued. The 5:00 PM Sunday Mass will be cancelled on seven Sundays during the coming year: July 5 (4th of July); August 31 (Labor Day); February 1 (Super Bowl); February 22 (Mardi Grass); April 12 (Easter Sunday); April 26 (Festivale Internationale); May 24 (Memorial Day). Please mark your personal calendars.
