Our PARISH PRIORITIES and Goals

2013-2015

I. ENGAGEMENT

We will encourage parishioners to become involved in the life of our parish.

1. To orient and involve new parishioners in the life of the parish.

2. To encourage a greater spirit of volunteerism in all ministries and activities.

3. To find creative ways to make church activities a priority in the lives of young families.

II. FORMATION

We will discern and develop additional programs for parishioners’ spiritual growth.

1. To foster greater faith development and involvement among men.

2. To encourage the organization of small groups for faith sharing and reflection.

3. To promote respect for life: the unborn, the ill and infirm, those in the final stages of life.

III. OUTREACH

We will seek out and minister to others in need within and outside our faith community.

1. To go out to inactive Catholics and the un-churched to become a part of our faith community.

2. To promote parish growth by inviting others to make St. Mary their spiritual home.

3. To identify issues or persons not adequately addressed or served and develop ways of meeting those needs.
